Man Arrested for Threatening Juveniles

The Waverly Police Department responded to a call concerning some unruly juveniles at the Laundromat in the Waverly Plaza Shopping Center on October 19.  The juveniles told the officers that Shane Clark had displayed a handgun to them while making threats.  Captain Grant Gillespie and Officer Joe Parnell spotted the vehicle Clark was riding in on Main St. and conducted a felony stop on the vehicle near Sonic.  Clark was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct.

The gun was located in the car and was actually an airsoft gun that was painted to look like a real firearm.  Clark was previously arrested on October 7 and charged with Disorderly Conduct for threatening another juvenile in the same location.  Clark was banned from coming onto the Waverly Plaza Shopping Center property by officers.
